Rudy & Lou Malnati back in the good ol’ days!

Marc Malnati responds to The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart from the streets of New York.

The great pizza debate will probably never see an end but we know one thing for sure - #NewYork can keep their thin crust pizza, we’ll take the #deepdish.

The 43rd Annual Lou Malnati’s Cancer Research Benefit was a huge success! We were able to raise a record breaking amount, nearly $240,000!!!!!

We’ll be able to donate our highest amount yet to cancer research and treatment programs at our three beneficiaries: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and Gilda’s Club.

The event took place at the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows and our theme was “Don’t Stop Believin’, Rock Against Cancer.” Over 400 guests showed up decked out in their best 80s outfits for a totally ‘80s party! They enjoyed delicious food and danced the night away to classic hits from the 1980s.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers and contributors who helped make this event such a success!

Lunch 8/27/2013:  Lou Malnati’s, 805 S. State Street, Chicago

Trio of Dips and Pizza Chips, the Malnati Chicago Classic deep-dish pizza.

For us, no trip to Chicago is complete without a trip to our beloved Lou’s. Their new appetizer was quite tasty; can’t go wrong with roasted garlic, artichoke, and hummus topped with giardiniera. Nothing beats the Chicago Classic. How can anyone say no to that meaty, cheesy slice??

It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall around here!  The change in seasons also brings about a change in cuisine.  We’re looking forward to apple pie, pecan pie, apple pancakes, and more!  What’s your favorite fall-inspired dish?
